The kids started noticing trash in the bathrooms and on the playground. Angie came to talk with us on ways we could help solve the problem. We are going to be little trash collectors and help others learn about the trouble with trash. One example was we could ask people their favorite animal and then teach them how trash harms that animal.
Our class became very interested in worms when we kept finding them stranded on the sidewalk. We observed them and read books about them. We decided we wanted to write a book for other kids, so they know they can help save worms. They aren’t gross! We think they are cute! They are also very helpful. Come to our classroom to read our book and find out why worms are worth saving!
