Our third-grade class went on a walk around Greenway taking notes on all the things we love about our school. As we talked, we realized we love how welcoming Greenway is and we wanted to find a way to celebrate this strength. We worked with local artist Wendy Doss and created a mural that shows how welcoming we can be at Greenway! We hope it reminds kids and grown-ups who visit Greenway, that they too can help make Greenway a special place!

Everyone has the right to fuel their bodies appropriately, or at least it should be a right! Unfortunately, not everyone has this privilege. Our Taking Action projects are inspired by our Food Justice unit where we researched three barriers to Food Justice For All: 1. Food Insecurity 2. Food Waste 3. Food Deserts.
