THPRD's Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation program provides access to recreation programs within THPRD to patrons who have developmental, learning or physical disabilities or mental illness. 3. Therapeutic Recreation Drop-In (TR Drop-In)

Description: This is a recreation and socialization program for teens (ages 14+) and adults with developmental disabilities. Join us for dances, arts and crafts, game nights, off-site activities, and much more.

4. Special Olympics

Description: Special Olympics Oregon provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children, youth and adults living with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

8. Camp Kiwanis

Description: At Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, we empower children and adults with disabilities. For over 80 years, we have partnered with the U.S. Forest Service to provide individuals with disabilities an outstanding overnight recreational opportunity in the Mt. Hood National Forest. We offer eight week-long sessions of residential summer camp, providing our campers with a one-on-one camper/counselor ratio. We also offer programming throughout the year at our fully accessible 22-acre campsite.

15. PHAME

Description: PHAME is a community where adults with disabilities and their families come to engage, learn, and grow in an environment that is supportive and comfortable. Built upon the belief that art is for all and that through the arts students, artists, teachers, and the greater community can discover their own inspiration, PHAME brings passion, joy, and rigor to arts education and performance. PHAME serves young and older adults with developmental disabilities, ages 17 to 70+. Our year-round arts programming includes three core components.
