Digital Cohort Presenation

In our post pandemic world, finding time for intentional professional development for Digital Learning/Tech Integration has been a challenge. Our district’s effective response to this has been a cohort model building leaders in each school with an emphasis on best pedagogical practices in our digital platforms. In our different cohort groups; facilitators engage their teams and buildings to empower their school community in digital innovation, as well as designing and managing digital coaching opportunities so that each and every student can thrive in the 21st century. Facilitators also have a built in district-wide PLN to help move us forward and transform mindsets. The cohorts help articulate and facilitate how digital learning and teaching look at their site, especially centered around their cohorts focus (Canvas, Seesaw, iPad use etc.). With these different cohorts, we can have a small team modeling and coaching instructional innovation.
