Fourth Grade GRR
2023 - 2024 School Year
This year fourth grade will solve several capers.The first one they solve is called The Great Chocolate Caper. Who stole the secret recipe? The children learn about suspects, alibies, hand writing analysis and how to do logic problems. They also solve the crime of, Where is Bob Agriculture? This curriculum goes through how detectives use many different tools to solve a crime. They learn about phone pinging, DNA testing, all the different kinds of printings and so much more. The children continue learning Math Pentathlon games. This year they review the ones they learned last year and also add a couple new games. We will learn about the genre of mysteries. The first book we read is Sammy Keyes and the Hotel Thief. This year they will use their writing skills to write a mystery. I hope to be done with this early enough to have it published for them.
