My JAGS Journey
I chose to do JAGS because I saw all of the opportunities that I could get by being in the academy. Many of my friends joined the academy and I knew that we would have classes together so I thought it was smart to join. I also thought that many colleges would like to see people in an academy like JAGS.
About Me
I chose JAGS because of the opportunities that it gave me throughout my four years of high school. In 8th grade, JAGS kids came to our middle school, and I liked how I would be in specific classes with my friends, visit new places, and learn more about the world and my place in it. I have learned so much from JAGS, including the United Nations sustainability goals, how to communicate ideas effectively, and recognize new perspectives. I have not only been a part of JAGS throughout my high school career. Throughout high school, I have also been a part of the Student Council, Chinese Club, Chinese Honors Society, Track and Field, and Cross Country. I also earned my Eagle Scout in my junior year. After high school, I plan to go to The Ohio State University and study Journalism and the pre-sports industry, or I plan to go to the University of Central Florida and study Theme park and tourism management.
