This paper was in my college composition 2 class. Everyone in the class chose a social issue that they would research. My paper was about the issue of recidivism in the United States. I worked very hard to research the reason for the problem and the solutions to the problem. I was also able to conduct interviews and my own study to learn more about the issue in Northeast Ohio. This was my best paper of my high school career to this point, and it really encapsulated how I have grown as a writer over the year.
This reflects the pillar, investigate the world, because I learned more about the problem of recidivism in the United States. I was able to learn more about the issue of recidivism across the United States. I was also able to see how other countries have handled recidivism to try and come up with a better solution in the United States. I was able to investigate the world to find out more about the issue and to find the right solution to the issue of recidivism. This paper would also help me understand more on how people respond to issues due to how I had to conduct a survey. I could investigate more into why people tend to prefer one solution over another. This paper would really reflect me investigating the world to learn about the issue and how to solve it.

This project was in my Chinese 4 class. Everyone had to work with a group to create food for the Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year is something that we have celebrated every year in this class because of how important it is. This year, everyone had to make authentic Chinese food and bring it into the class for everyone to share. This project was really important to me because I love to embrace new cultures, especially Chinese culture, since I have been learning about it for 4 years. As well, I want to put a lot of work into this project because I am not in this class for much longer and want to remember every moment I have in the class. This project was done by Justin Hughes, Jameson Hull, and me. This project was really good and exciting.
This project represented the JAGS pillars of investigate the world and communicate ideas. Through this project, we had to research many Chinese dishes. Then we had to choose a dish that we wanted to make and bring in for the class. This project helped me learn more about Chinese dishes. I knew a lot about the basic dishes like rice, noodles, and dumplings, but this project helped me learn more about more complex dishes. My group was able to make traditional Chinese orange chicken. I was able to learn a lot about Chinese food through this presentation. I was also able to communicate ideas with my group. My group did not know what we were going to do; however, through discussion and being able to communicate effectively, we were able to finish the project and make our food. Our group worked very well, and we were able to work out any issues we had through communication. This project would help me communicate my ideas better through projects and learn that everyone should put in the same amount of effort.

This is the most important thing that happened this year while I was in JAGS. This year was the big Europe Trip that happened. Our JAGS group went to 5 countries on this trip. We went to France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, and Germany. This was the one trip that I was looking forward to during my entire high school career. I was able to learn so much on this trip and It really helped me open my eyes to other countries that are in Europe. This trip really was the best part of my junior year and it would help me learn more about my families culture and different cultures I'm not used to. This trip would help me understand more about history and culture. This trip really helped me grow as a person and made junior year memorable.
This trip is connected to the JAGS pillar of Investigate the World because I was able to go across the Atlantic Ocean and go to places that I have never been to before. I was able to investigate different places that I have only read about and seen pictures of. Being able to see Paris, Bern, Munich, and Salzburg would open my eyes in a way that has never happened before in high school. Being able to investigate the world in a hands on experience brought be pleasure and is something that I look forward to later in life. Due to this trip I want to visit as many countries as I can so I can learn about cultures and meet as many people as I can. i was able to understand the perspectives of the people in these countries and see what they experience as well. I was able to recognize the perspectives of people in these countries and this would help me grow as a person as well. I could learn more about these peoples history's, cultures, and language. This are core JAGS values and I will be forever grateful for the experiences that JAGS has given me. This trip was impactful in so many ways and I cannot wait to travel there again.

This project was a part of my AP seminar class. This project was a part of my seminar exam, and it was very important that my team and I did well on this. I was put with a group, and we had to work together to finish our presentation and make sure that it was good for the exam. This was one of my best presentations that I have ever given. I was able to work well with my team to complete this assignment, and it went very good.
This represents the JAGS pillar of communicating ideas because I had to work with a team to get this project done. I was able to work with a team of 4 other people to finish this project. We had our struggles working with a group, but we were able to communicate our ideas effectively and efficiently to get the presentation completed. We were also able to recognize everyone in the group's perspective on the presentation to ensure that everyone's needs were met. Not only did I recognize the perspectives of the people in the group, but I was also able to recognize the perspectives of the different countries we researched. I researched Fast Fashion in China and the United States. I was able to make a connection and learn more about their perspectives on fast fashion. This project helped me create an important project with a group that I did not know much. This project also helped me learn more about Fast Fashion in the world and the perspectives that different countries have on fast fashion.

This project was in my Physics class. Over the class, we had 4 different projects that I had to do. I had to create a bridge, create an instrument, create an eggcatcher, and create a mousetrap car project. This project was created to have us make a mousetrap car. This car was something that was wound up with a mousetrap, and then it would move. This was a very fun project, and it was the best project that I made in physics this year. I worked very hard to ensure that the math and the car worked correctly.
This project showed the JAGS pillar of communicate ideas because I had to work in a group of three people to get this project done. The project had a theme to it, and this theme we worked very hard on. We eventually came up with the idea of making the car have a Cleveland theme. This theme was found by all of us working together. As well, we worked together and communicated our ideas to fix the car when different parts of it needed to be fixed. Right before we tested it, some parts of it fell apart, but because of our communication, we were able to fix the car and ensure that it would work. This was a great show of communicating ideas, and it worked really good. This would as well help me learn to compromise on issues with people. We had to make compromises on different parts of the car because our group wanted to do different things. This project would help me understand how to create compromises that are good for everyone. This project helped me learn how to build something with a group only with little instructions. I will need this later in life and since I was able to communicate effectively that helped a lot.
