This assignment was a research paper that we got to pick whatever topic we wanted. We then had to do a lot of research about this topic. This is one of my best JAGS assignments that I did in my sophomore year. This is because it was a really good paper that I did, and I put a lot of work into it. This would help me be prepared for paper that I would have later in high school. My junior year I took College Composition 1 and 2. I was able to use the knowledge that I gained from this paper to write great papers in those classes.
This is related to investigating the world because I learned about the different amusement park standards around the world. My paper was about amusement park standards, and I looked into the standards around the world. This shows me investigating the world because I am learning more about the world, especially in the amusement park industry. I was also able to recognize perspectives of different countries in my paper. My paper had three different perspectives. The three perspectives were an American perspective, Danish perspective, and Chinese perspective. I was able to investigate into each of these countries and recognize their perspectives on the amusement industry.

This project is when me and a partner made a map that represented the 1800s in the United States. We worked really hard on this and were able to get voted the 3rd best map out of all of the classes. This is some of my best work in APUSH, and it helped me do good on the AP test. This would be the first big project that we had in APUSH that year. This would help me get a foundation on what the projects would be like and who I wanted to work with. This was a really good project to start with and I also was able to learn a lot from it.
This shows communicating ideas because I worked with a team to create this map. We had to have specific things from the outline, but we worked together to create the map as we wanted to. This pillar was great to show the communication of our ideas, and this was a great show of teamwork. My team was Justin Hughes, Sebastian Isnick, and Daniel Gadzic. This team was able to work very well together to be able to get this done and have a good grade. This helped me learn how to communicate my ideas with a group more effectively. I also learned how to make sure that everyone was doing their work because in past groups, many people have slacked off and not done it. This project really helped me learn how to communicate better with a group.

In this project, we had to talk about a drink that we can make. We had to talk about it in Manderian. This was some of my best work sophomore year because I was fluent in my speaking and I kept a good talking speed the whole time. This was a really good presentation and it really helped me learn more about Chinese drinks and new words.
This is connected to the pillar, investigate the world, because I had to learn more about the language before I could do the video and presentation. I had to learn new words for the ingredients and other parts of the presentation. This presentation really helped me learn more about the chinese language and it helped me investigate a part of the world that I am not used to. To create the drink I had to learn more about tea in China. I was able to learn that it is very important to their culture and that many people in China drink tea daily. This helped me learn more about China and their culture.

This project is some of my best work from Chemistry this year because I put a lot of effort into making this video. This video was made by me and my two friends about Mole Day. We put a lot of hard work into it, and it turned out really good. This video would also prepare be for later in the year when we had to make a documentary. This project prepared me for the year and also learned more about chemistry.
This shows the JAGS pillar of communicating ideas because my group worked together to create this project. We would bring our ideas together to create a video that was really good. This was a really good use of teamwork work and it really paid off. We also had different Ideas, but we were able to work together to figure out a compromise or to come up with the best solution.

This was some of the best work that I did in my sophomore year. My friends and I worked on this project for around a month and a half, and the project has to be connected to a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal. We worked very hard on this project. The best part of it is that we planted trees at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Our group was attempting to help limit deforestation, and we did this through the presentation and planting trees.
This is connected to the JAGS pillar, take action, because we would take direct action on reversing deforestation. We planted around 70 trees in the Park, and this will really help the planet and the park. We took action to help and solve the problems in the world, and that is one of the major reasons that JAGS exists. This was a very good experience, and it showed me how bad deforestation and climate change really are. This would also show recognize perspectives because I was able to learn more about deforestation around the world and how different countries are dealing with the issue. Through being able to recognize the perspectives of other countries we could come up with a solution that could work for different cultures and countries. This was as well a group project. We were able to communicate our ideas effectively to get the project done and actually make a difference in our community.
