As we are sure you will agree the current situation within the Ukraine makes for is heart wrenching and painful viewing.

Within our Academy, we have families whose heritage originates from Ukraine. These events, as we are sure you will appreciate, are more agonising as there is a personal connection to the country.

As our Academy follows the Primary Years Pathway International Baccalaureate, an aspect of our curriculum delivery is International Mindedness. With that in mind, we would like to, as an Academy, provide humanitarian aid to those in need in the Ukraine.

Families within our Academy have agreed to coordinate this effort in regard to organising and transporting donated items.

We would be grateful if you could donate any of the following items into the school office:

• Baby Wipes;

• Nappies;

• Formula;

• Duvets & Blankets;

• Sleeping Bags;

• Feminine Hygiene Products;

• Winter Coats;

• Batteries;

• First Aid Equipment;

• Non-perishable Food Items.

If you wish to donate any items can they come into school throughout next week. The deadline for donating items will be Friday 11th March 2020. We will store any items donated and pass them over to our Academy members co-ordinating this humanitarian effort.
