Bearsted Primary Academy Newsletter

Principal's Message

Dudley, Eunice and Franklin made half term a little more interesting but thankfully we all managed to stay safe.

It is brilliant for us to see and hear how quickly your children are engaging with the The PYP inquiry led learning approach. We do , however, understand that it may not seem as straight forward to each of you. This approach and the style of curriculum delivery at Bearsted Primary Academy is highly aspirational and accessible to all pupils irrespective of need, background or circumstance - BUT it is not understood overnight. So, we have been adding some links to documents and information to give you some insights and information. The next step is to invite you in to share more information and for you to be able to ask questions, both with staff and the children. Dates to follow very soon.

I can't believe we are already at the end of week two, but what a week it has been. This week has certainly ended on high. After the fun of World Book Day, all of children got to choose which story they listened to which was greatly enjoyed by all.

That said, we must take a moment to think of others who may not be able to enjoy life right now. Everyone is aware of the conflict in Ukraine. Whilst, it is not for us to express a particular view, we will always be on the side of humanity and compassion. To find details of our request for donations to support those in great need please use the 'Crisis in Ukraine' link under the menu.
