- Life Cycle- a series of stages a living thing goes through, from birth to death.
- Reproduce- to make new organisms (offspring, babies)
- Classification- the method of grouping things according to their shared qualities or features.
- Incubate- to keep something (such as eggs) in the right conditions for it to delvelop.
- Adult- fully grown, mature.
- Offspring- a new organism or organisms made when something reproduces, the next generation.
- Embryo- a developing baby animal that hasn’t hatched or been born yet.
- Yolk- the yellow part of a bird's egg.
- Shell- the protective outer layer of an egg.
- Membrane- the thin layer between two substances.
- White- the part of an egg that is white in color and surrounds the yolk.
- Fertilize- to join an egg or seed with a male cell, so that it can start to develop into a new plant or animal.
- Germination- the stage in a plant’s life cycle when a seed starts to grow into a plant.
