Lesson 2&3
INTENT: I know about George Seurat and Chris Ofili.
IMPLEMENTATION: During this lesson the children learned about two artists who use pointillism in their work; George Seurat and Chris Ofili. The children then created posters about each artist, including facts and images of their work!
IMPACT: Year 1 can now name two pointillism artists.

Sculpture
INTENT: To learn about Andy Goldsworthy and his artwork.
IMPLEMENTATION: During this art lesson the children learned all about the natural artist: Andy Goldsworthy. They learned that he creates his artwork using natural materials!
IMPACT: The children now know who Andy Goldsworthy is and what a natural artist is.
INTENT: To plan a natural art piece inspired by Andy Goldsworthy.
IMPLEMENTATION: The children worked in pairs to collect materials for their own natural art piece. They had to ensure they cllected natural materials as they were creating natural art!
IMPACT: The children are now ready to create their own natural art piece.
INTENT: To create a natural art piece inspired by Andy Goldsworthy.
IMPLEMENTATION: In partners, the children used the materias they collected to create their own natural art pieces. They thought about what shapes Goldsworthy used in his art and tried to replicate them. Some children even thought about the colours Andy Goldsworhty uses and tried to use the same!
IMPACT: The children now understand natural art and can create their own!
Term 5- Cubism
lesson 1
INTENT: to think outside the box in relation to colours you would associate with the above picture
IMPLEMENTATION: children to colour the fish using unconventional colours to match cubism
IMPACT: children were introduced to the cocept of cubism
lesson 2 INTENT: children would use different line thickness to create shape art work
IMPLEMENTATION: children used different thickness of paint brushes to create art work
IMPACT: childrne saw the impact of using different thickness of lines to create cubism art.

INTENT: children created cubism art work
IMPLEMENTATION: completed one half of their teachers face
IMPACT: created artowrk in the style of cubism

IMPLEMENTATION: children reviewed their art work
IMPACT: children know how to improve their work and celebrate the success
