The National Coordinating Council for Career and Technical Student Organizations (NCC-CTSO) serves as a communications and collaborative vehicle for Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) that are recognized by a significant number of state departments of education as integral to their Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and meet other criteria described below. The NCC-CTSO also includes national organizations that have an interest in CTE.

FFA, or Future Farmers of America, is an intracurricular student organization that prepares members for leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. The organization was founded in 1928 by a group of young farmers with the goal of preparing future generations to feed a growing population. In 1988, the organization was updated to reflect the changing opportunities and diversity in agriculture, and is now also known as the Future Biologists, Future Chemists, Future Veterinarians, Future Engineers, and Future Entrepreneurs of America.
DECA is an international organization for high school & college students that helps prepare them for careers in business, marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. DECA's mission is to develop leadership, career readiness, and business skills, and to prepare students to be community-oriented, professionally responsible, and experienced leaders.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education in public and private schools through grade 12. FCCLA offers intra-curricular resources and opportunities for students to pursue careers that support families. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education.

HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of ACTE. HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA's goal is to encourage all health science instructors and students to join and be actively involved in the HSE-HOSA Partnership.

National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) is the honor society for Career & Technical Education (CTE). As a national non-profit student organization, NTHS has been recognizing outstanding student achievement in CTE since 1984. Having served over 1.2 million members in secondary and postsecondary chapters across the country and beyond, NTHS continues to support the next generation of skilled workers and leaders through chapter activities built around our Core Four Objectives of career development, leadership development, service, and recognition.
