Welcome Musicians!

Hello Eagle Families! My name is Ms. Kalista Blake and I am the director of the Waccamaw School Music Department. I grew up right here in Brunswick County and love that I still get to call this place my home. This is my 6th year teaching at Waccamaw and I am excited to be involved in all things music, including K-5 music, 6th-8th grade band, and 7th-8th grade music production. I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education (K-6) from Campbell University and an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. In my free time, I enjoy working with the WBHS Marching Band, running my mobile coffee trailer (Groovy Whiskers Coffee Co.), traveling to try delicious new foods, and spending time with my family and three purrfect cats!
