Currently, Waccamaw School has two performing arts ensembles. The Eagle Beginning Band consists of 6th-grade beginning musicians who play flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or percussion. The Waccamaw Wind Ensemble is an intermediate group that includes 7th- and 8th-grade players who perform at various community events in addition to school performances. In this ensemble, students play the instruments listed above as well as advanced instruments such as Bass Clarinet, Tenor Saxophone, Bari Saxophone, and Baritone.
