7th Grade English Language Arts

Hello! My name is Brian Heim. I am going to be your 7th grade English Language Arts teacher this year at Cedar Grove Middle School. I just wanted to thank you for taking a moment to visit my class page. It is more important than ever before for each of us to apply ourselves in order to face the challenges of being a student in 2020-2021! The fact that you have even visited my website shows me that you are invested in education.

I would like to use this page as an opportunity to get students and guardians familiar with who Mr. Heim is as both a teacher and a proud Tarheel. I am looking forward to my fifth year of middle grade English Language Arts education this year. Although this is completely different from anything we have experienced before, I believe that the Bulldog spirit is one of enthusiasm and hard work. We can accomplish anything we put our minds to. If I ever feel confused or overwhelmed, I always reach out for help. I encourage the same thing for you. As a student during this time, you may find some things confusing or different from previous years. Please reach out to any of your teachers with any questions. There is no question too big or small.

We are Bulldogs. I am so proud to be a part of this community and this family. Let's be the greatest we can be.
