If you are interested in furthering your education, whether it be in technical school or 4-year university, after high school, College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) is the place to start. They also have resources for Career Planning!
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is your free resource for applying for student financial aid. CFNC hosts a FAFSA Day every year to provide support to students and their families in understanding and completing the FAFSA.
Brunswick Community College and Cape Fear Community College are wonderful resources for future plans. Both colleges have wonderful technical and 2-year programs to meet any of your educational and career goals!
The U.S. Department of Labor offers a free Scholarship Search Tool. You can also check out Big Future by the College Board, and they offer information on scholarships, along with testing information such as the ACT, SAT, and college search assistance.

Military
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple choice test that determines whether you qualify for enlisted in one of the branches of the military. It can also be used to determine career interests, skills and possible jobs both in the military and in the civilian world.Â
