Bio: I graduated from Queens University of Charlotte in 2007 with a B.A. in English Literature and Drama. I taught K-5 Drama for Craven County Schools from 2008-2013. I began working for Buncombe County Schools in January 2013 and completed my Master of Library Science degree from Appalachian State University in May 2013. I started working at Fairview in August 2013 as the media specialist. The Fairview school media center library is a place for inquiry and reading. I truly enjoy helping students search for answers and encouraging their growth as readers and thinkers.

Bio: I am the Digital Learning and Media Specialist for Buncombe County Schools in Asheville, NC. I have over 15 years of educational experience in the classroom, as a Media Specialist and Instructional Technologist and have taught a variety of technology-based classes, including video production, multimedia design and computer science.
Prior to teaching, I spent 15 years working in broadcast communications and public relations. I am certified for Business 6-12, Instructional Technology and School Library Media. I have a BS in Marketing from University of South Florida and an MS in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State University. Needless to say, media and technology are a passion!

Bio: I have been an educator for 25 years and I never wake up wishing I had chosen a different career! I've served many roles in the public education arena, but the majority of my educational career has been in Instructional Technology support. I currently work with Buncombe County Schools in the Reynolds district with all grade levels to integrate technology with classroom curriculum in our 1:1 learning environments.
