NCAA/NAIA

Student athletes wishing to extend their athletic career into their post-secondary education will need to register with either NCAA or NAIA.

If you plan to enroll in any Division I or Division II college or university, you must be eligible with NCAA to play your sport in college. If you have questions about NCAA or how to apply, please email your counselor. Always let your counselor know if you have registered on the NCAA eligibility center, so she can upload your transcript for you! You will also need to send in your highest test scores (see ACT/SAT page for info).

The cost to apply for NCAA eligibility is $90. If you have used an ACT/SAT fee waiver, or if you are on free/reduced lunch, you may be eligible for a fee waiver.

To play sports at a Division I or II school, you must graduate from high school, complete 16 NCAA-approved core courses, earn a minimum GPA and earn an ACT or SAT score that matches your core-course GPA. DI requires a minimum 2.3 GPA and DII requires a minimum 2.2 GPA. Please visit this site to see the requirements.
