Summer Enrichment Programs
BCS offers Summer School for students who want or need to take high school classes for credit. Students with a 3.0 or higher can take a summer class through NCVPS (North Carolina Virtual Public School), students can take an A-B Tech CCP course, and students can take in-person classes at one of the BCS High Schools (either to retake a class that they didn't pass or to take a class for the first time). Students should talk to their counselor in May about these opportunities.
The College Foundation of North Carolina keeps a database of enrichment programs in NC, and student of all grade levels are encouraged to explore this website if you are interested in a summer enrichment program.
