Valley Springs Middle String Orchestra

String Orchestra is a year-long elective course for 7th and 8th grade at Valley Springs Middle School. Students play the Violin, Viola, Cello, or Bass. Strings students build on knowledge and skills gained in previous strings courses and perform for the community and regional events. Students will learn skills and techniques that will prepare them for participation in high school orchestra and extra-curricular playing. Strings at Valley Springs is a dynamic and engaging class and students enrolled in strings can be sponsored to audition for regional and all-state events by their Orchestra teacher through the North Carolin Music Education Association.
