Elizabeth Terry

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Terry and welcome to the Roberson District Orchestra page! I am very excited to lead the dynamic Orchestra programs at CT Koontz Intermediate, Valley Springs Middle, and TC Roberson High Schools. Teacher Bio

Elizabeth Terry has worked with middle and high school students in a variety of settings including chamber groups, youth orchestras, and all-county orchestras since 2006. Elizabeth is an active performer on violin and viola and holds a BA in Music from UNC Asheville and a Master of Music Education from UNC Greensboro. She also holds National Board certification in Early Adolescence Through Young Adulthood Music. Elizabeth first learned to play violin in the Buncombe County School system and is excited to be a part of the Roberson district tradition of musical excellence.

Being in Orchestra

In Ms. Terry's Orchestra classes, students learn a variety of string instrument techniques and perform fun and engaging repertoire in a string orchestra setting. Orchestra is offered as a year-long class starting in the 6th grade in the Roberson district. Students from the Roberson district orchestra programs frequently perform with NCMEA regional and all-state orchestras as well as the annual BCS all-county orchestras and local youth orchestras.
