The Honors Pre-Calculus class is one of the courses available to prepare students for college level math courses. This class covers all the material necessary to register for an AP or college entry level Calculus class. Students need to complete Math 3 before taking Pre-Calculus.
REGISTRATION - Pre-Calc students can register for the AB-Tech Calculus courses taught on the ACR campus - MA 271 (Calculus 1) and optionally MA 272 (Calculus 2). The AB-Tech Statistics course (MA 152) is also available as an ACR dual enrollment course. Students who feel they need more work prior to enrolling in Calculus can also take the AB-Tech Pre-Calculus classes, MA 171 & MA 172. Speak with Mr. Honea and your guidance counselor for more personalized advice for your registration for next year.
TUTORING - Tutoring for math classes is available from 7:30-7:55am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If possible, please let me know you are planning to come by the previous evening.
Reminder - This webpage does NOT provide day-to-day updates of assignments. Students should use their Google Classroom page to keep up with the class.
