Students transitioning from Koontz Intermediate
Your student's information will be shared with CCMS from the feeder school
Each 7th grader will take ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Your student will have a homeroom teacher who will be your main point of contact, unless you have a content specific question. All students will have all four classes each day, as well as two Elective classes. Students will choose from Art, Band (year-long), Chorus (semester or year-long), Spanish Heritage I (Part B) (for students who have been in a Dual Language program or are native Spanish speakers; year-long with a high school credit possibility), Creative Dramatics, Exploring Nutrition and Wellness, Exploratory Spanish, Intermediate Spanish, Career Exploration - Carpentry, Drafting Architectural, & Woodworking, and Beginning/Intermediate Orchestra. Every child will have one semester of Health/Physical Education.
March 11th: CCMS Admin & Counselor will visit students at Koontz Intermediate
March 18th: Koontz students will come tour CCMS
March 19th: Koontz families, and any other families interested in attending CCMS as a 7th grader, are welcomed to CCMS a Transition Night for information and a tour 6:00-7:00pm. Families should plan to attend for the entire hour.
March 26th: Google Forms for Elective classes submitted
