In the 2019-2020 school year, Warrior of the Month was sponsored by PBIS and recognized one student from each grade level for being an examplar of one of our five core values: perseverance, respect, integrity, diversity, and excellence. Each nomination required a written explanation of how the nominee showed perseverance, as all voting after the nominations is done use the explanations as opposed to the nominees’ names. The PBIS team then selected five finalists for each grade level and the staff, and final voting was opened to all staff and students last week.

This year was interrupted by COVID-19; we were unable to finish WOM for March or begin the overall recognition we had planned to start in April/May this year.
