Health Related Components of Fitness (Overall Health Status)

  • Flexibility - the ability to use one’s joints fully to prevent muscle injury and improve performance

  • Cardiovascular Endurance - the heart’s ability to deliver oxygen to working muscles and their ability to use it

  • Body Composition - the percentage of body weight that is fat, muscle, and bone
