Over the summer of 2024, I performed the methodology for my project. For my project, I was looking at eDNA abundance of fish species in a local river to analyze fish populations. I collected all of my samples from a local river and began to analyze my data I obtained from my study. From there I began to write my research paper.

During the school year, I continued to write my research paper and finalize my study for the year. In the winter, I was given the opportunity to present my work at the UAlbany Science Research Symposium.

Near the end of the year, I created a poster presentation to present my work at the WESEF Competition. At this competition, my work was recognized when I won the Teatown Young Environmentalist Award.
