Social Studies

Our New York State Social Studies program combines skills, concepts and content. The BOCES Social Studies Program focuses on the family and community.  Concepts are taught through the use of thematic literature, field trips, guest speakers and other activities.  Units are part of a continuum that emphasize the development of self-identity and social interaction.
