Curriculum

The first grade curriculum provides an age-appropriate educational program that fosters skill development in the cognitive, language, social/emotional, and physical domains. We believe in a child-centered approach and environment encouraging exploration, creativity, and problem-solving where children learn how to learn and achieve success on the primary grade level. Curriculum content is aligned with NYS standards and includes early literacy, math, science, social studies, social emotional learning and creative arts activities. Parents are informed regularly about their children’s developmental progress and are encouraged to support learning at home.
