Mrs. Auffant
Our science lab offers opportunities for hands-on lesson which enhance the standard science curriculum. Our fully equipped science lab allows space for exploration and discovery of science concepts. The hands-on science program is STEM rich and focuses on the traditional science areas of physical, earth, and life sciences with a strong emphasis on incorporating technology into the classroom to meet the Next Generation Science Standards. In the Fall of 2018 we began to implement the inclusion of the Project Lead the Way - LAUNCH program and is now included third through 6th grade. We believe that scientific inquiry, the process of asking questions and conducting experiments as a way to understand the natural world, is the foundation of science education. We are committed to delivering a high-quality, inquiry based and engaging learning environment.
