The Owens GATE Academy Performing Arts department is an integral part of the GATE Academy Program. Every student, whether in the GATE classes or in the traditional education classes, has the opportunity to attend musical dance theater class through the week during the school day, and perform multiple times per year with their classes. Students also have the option of participating in the after school Performing Arts Club taught by our two Performing Arts teachers, Frank Sierra and Kelci Cerri. Performing Arts is embedded in the GATE Academy Program daily; it is not only an after school activity.
