You can join in two simple ways:

1. Click on Zoom link from email/website

2. Enter the meeting info into the Zoom app or Zoom Chrome Extension

If you do not have the app/extension installed, you will be prompted to do so.

1. At the bottom bar, click Participants.

2. Next to your name, click More.

3. Select Rename.

If you are unable to rename yourself, the host may have disallowed this ability. Ask the host to go to Security settings to allow renaming.

1. In the upper right corner, look for the word Speaker view or Gallery view.

2. Click on the word to change to views.

Sometimes the shared Zoom screen is too small. You can make the screen bigger by grabbing the separator line between the shared screen and the participant videos.

1. Plug in the headset.

2. Click the arrow next to Mute in the lower left corner.

3. Change the Mic and Speaker to your headphones.

1. Click on Participants.

2. Under the new window, look for the non-verbal response options.

The Chrome Zoom extension does not permit a user to click on a link. They must highlight the link, copy the link, and finally paste the link into a web browser to visit the link.

1. Look at the middle of your BCSD desktop monitor.

2. Do you see a black slider?

3. The webcam is default to be closed. Move the slider to open the webcam.
