Bienvenue a la classe de français avec M. Garcia !
My name is Edrei Garcia. You can call me Monsieur Garcia or just Monsieur. I'm very excited to be your French teacher this year! This will be my first year teaching, but not my first time at Northside. I student taught Spanish here with Mr. Slone this past semester.
About me: I was born in Mexico, and I've lived in Indiana since I was two. I live in North Vernon with my mom, dad, brother, and sister. My high school French teacher is the reason I'm here today. She made me fall in love with French language and culture, and I truly hope to inspire that same passion in all of you. After high school, I went to Ivy Tech in Columbus and got my associate's degree in Liberal Arts. I just graduated from Hanover College with a bachelor's degree in French and Spanish.
Other interests of mine include video games, writing, watching documentaries, concerts, memes, and more. I have a dry sense of humor, so you may not be able to tell if I'm joking or serious at times. I hope you enjoy my dry humor jokes when we get to meet in person!

Speaking of music, here I am in my high school's brass choir. I've played the trumpet since the sixth grade.
And if you can spot me on the right, you'll see me holding a euphonium with my college concert band!
Apart from languages and music, I really enjoy skateboarding. I like practicing tricks and cruising around town.
