Quarter 3 Professional Learning Cycles will focus on student engagement in productive struggle - how do we help teachers to meet their students needs with appropiate scaffolding without sacrificing grade-level rigor of their lessons?
Building on their teachers' internalization of curricular goals from Q1 and Q2, coaches will provide their teams with professional development to their teams that helps them understand how to modify instructional plans to provide on-ramps for those students who need them. They will also help their teachers remove scaffolds so that students are continually pushed to operate in their zone of proximal development.
