Course Expectations Checklist

Note: No payments are necessary until after all coursework is complete.

1. Select one or more of the available EdTech Pathways: Boosting Productivity: Strategies for Busy Educators, Google Workspace for Education, and/or Self-Selected EdTech Sessions.

2. Make a copy of the Session Tracking Sheet and write down your personal pathway goal.

3. Attend five, full-length EdTech BCOE training sessions and complete an accompanying Session Reflection form for each. All coursework must be completed and submitted within a single, traditional school year (August 1st to June 30th).

4. Read two articles from the Reading Bank and complete an accompanying Reading Reflection form for each. 

(One of the two readings may be self-selected, if desired. A self-selected reading must be connected to your Session Tracking Sheet's pathway goal and must be written/published post-2015.)

5. Review and participate in professional collaboration opportunities.

6. Implement lesson(s) utilizing newly learned tools, resources, and/or pedagogies.

7. Complete the Culminating Reflection form. 

8. After all coursework is complete, register for either UOP / EdTech BCOE Course: BUTTE COUNTY Enrollment or UOP / EdTech BCOE Course: OUT-OF-COUNTY Enrollment in order to receive each Course Pathway Completion Certificate.

Course Completion Procedure

To receive units (credits) from University of the Pacific, Benerd College, all completed coursework will first need to be confirmed by EdTech BCOE. This process will begin as soon as you submit your Culminating Reflection form.

Submitting this form confirms that you have attended five sessions and completed the corresponding Session Reflection Forms, read two articles and completed the corresponding Reading Reflection Forms, participated in professional collaboration, implemented tools you have learned from your pathway sessions, and have completed the Culminating Reflection Form. Each certificated pathway requires separate completion of all above items.

After review, if all course expectations are fully completed and the appropriate UOP / EdTech BCOE Course: BUTTE COUNTY Enrollment or UOP / EdTech BCOE Course: OUT-OF-COUNTY Enrollment has been paid for, you will receive an email with your Course Pathway Completion Certificate(s). After receiving your certificate(s), head to teacherfriendly.com/edtechbcoe-courses and formally register for the appropriate number of credits from University of the Pacific, Benerd College.
