A. Taiga Guterres is a second year doctoral student in the Formative Education Department at the Lynch School of Human Development. Additionally, Taiga is the managing editor of the Jesuit Educational Quarterly at the Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies and a practicing psychotherapist. His interests include exploring questions related to the ways in which various forms of memory and narratives of the self shape one's retrospection and prospection of their lives. In this specific exhibit, he is interested in exploring deformation alongside formation, and how cultural lenses impact our view of mistakes and failure.
Jessica Blake-West is a second year doctoral student in the Formative Education Department at the Lynch School of Human Development. Her interests around human formation include. In addition to her studies, she works as the ScratchJr Learning Experience Designer for the DevTech Research Group. Her interests include researching and designing technologies which foster creativity and collaboration for young children. In this specific exhibit, she is interested in exploring the creativity employed in the face of failures and challenges, and how that ultimately serves as a key element in human formation.
