Teaching
I greatly enjoy teaching at Boston College, and I strive to find creative new ways to teach material and engage with students. Recently I have been learning from my colleagues about the roles that white supremacy and ableism play in higher education.
I have been involved in several education initiatives at Boston College, including an NSF-funded project on developing high school math teachers in the Boston area.
I co-organized the first annual Boston College Math Department Teaching Workshop, an internal workshop where my colleagues and I will be developing our courses for the upcoming academic year.
In 2019 I received the Donald J. White Teaching Excellence Award for my work as a teaching assistant. In 2021 I received the award for my work as a lead instructor.

In the summer of 2019 and 2020 I taught at the MathJam summer program for Project MEGSSS, teaching middle school students about logic and geometry, and playing math games.
