Expository Notes

This is a place where I will upload write ups on various topics. These will be (hopefully) self-contained and on the order of 10 pages. The idea is that the notes are readable and accessible to those with little background.

Currently, I am thinking about making write ups for:

• Graduate/research-level topics

  • Polynomial dynamics, external rays, and the motivation for laminations.

  • Cutting sequences of lines in the plane.

  • Topological entropy in Markov systems.
