Coco with Coco

Members of Spanish Club having relax at an after school meeting last Wednesday, October 24th. The students enjoyed tasty hot coco while watching Coco. Grace Bodossian, ‘22, a member of Spanish Club, says, “Spanish Club is fun and cool! I’m excited for this meeting because I love this movie!”

Celebrating the Fall Season German-Style

Andrew Hensel ‘19, Kaylee Smith ‘21, Marina Tarassenko ‘21, and Matthew Tamulewicz ‘21 celebrate the fall season the German way with their annual Oktoberfest and Halloween Party. German Club celebrated Oktoberfest on October 5th by wearing festive costumes, enjoying bratwurst and hamburgers, listening to German music, while making traditional arts and crafts. The Halloween party, held on October 26th, was spooktacular with costume and pumpkin painting competitions.


Art Club

Art club is a meeting that allows students to explore and expand their artistic abilities. The next meeting is November 5th. Students will be making crafts centered on the month’s theme of being thankful. If there are any questions about the club, see Mrs. Rowland in room 48.

Harry Potter Hosts Halloween Meeting

Members of the Harry Potter Club had their Halloween meeting on Friday, October 26th in Mrs. Loomer’s room, 147. The girls enjoyed snacks and talked about Harry Potter while quizzing each other by playing multiple games. Finn Boesmann ‘19, a member of the club says, “I love the friendly competition in our houses with trivia challenges and games. It’s a lot of fun and a cool way to find people with similar interests.”

It’s A Spooktacular Halloween at the Heights!!

Halloween on the Heights took place on Saturday, October 20th from 1-4pm at the Broadview Heights Recreation Center. This event is filled with games, prizes, food, indoor trick-or-treating, fun bouncy houses, and everyone's favorite… the costume competition!
