I've been teaching art for 27 years -- 25 of them in Brecksville - Broadview Heights. I began my artistic career as a professional Graphic Designer. I designed displays & exhibits for NASA Lewis Research Center, (NASA Glenn), Magazines for Heubner Communications, and prepared artwork for printing at Salem Color Press. I understanding, through personal experience, how art & design can lead to challenging, rewarding creative careers. I left the field of Graphic Design to raise my two children in the early 1990s, taught art in Rocky River, then returned to full-time teaching in 2001.
