Hello Parents, 4/30/2020

As you all know I will be having the baby any day now. I want to inform you all that I have chosen to not take my maternity leave this year. I have decided that the transition to a “virtual substitute” might be difficult for my students and I feel that keeping as much normalcy as possible for them is the right thing to do.

The baby’s tentative arrival date is May 6th, but this could change at any time. I am planning on taking 3-5 days to recover and then get right back into the routine.

I will give notice on when I will be out and forward you the contact information of Mrs.Pingitore and Mrs.Silverstein, who will be available during those days for any assistance you might need. Please contact me with any questions or concerns. I will keep you all posted.

Warm Regards,

Mrs. Maggio

Hola padres, 30/04/2020

Many of the students have their multiplication dry erase packets at home, but I have included another copy for those who might have lost theirs.

Here are some things to support your student during at home instruction. Please remember this is supposed to be reviewed and help your student practice already learned skills. If he or she becomes frustrated please limit the amount of problems: for example: do only the evens one day and odds the next! Students can also answer open-ended questions on the computer and share the document with us. If they use the computer please make sure the title of the book, question number, and the date.
