Bayside Food Pantry serves our church family and community through meeting needs in the name of Jesus.
Who does the Food Pantry serve?
One week each month we sponsor families referred to us by Virginia Beach Social Services by supplying those families with pantry items.
Provide Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter Baskets to low income families at Diamond Springs Elementary School.
We work with B.E.A.C.H., a community partnership between citizens and faith, business, non-profit, and city organizations who are working together in Bringing and End to All City Homelessness. Distribution with B.E.A.C.H. is the 3rd week of each month.
If you are in need of food assistance, contact the church office at 757-460-2481 to schedule an appointment.
How can I participate in the Food Pantry Ministry?
Each month a different item is collected to replenish our inventory of non-perishable goods. Donations can be brought to the Welcome Center on Sunday mornings or to the church office during office hours.
Prepare pantry items and holiday baskets for distribution.
If you are interested in serving with the Food Pantry Ministry or if you know of someone needing assistance,
contact Katrina Critides at kcritides@baysidebc.org.
"And he answered them, "Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise." Luke 3:11
