Parents, your input during this scheduling process is imperative in ensuring that students are making the best academic choices possible. Students, along with parents must carefully consider all courses and/or programs being requested, including the combined time commitment of DE and/or AP courses with respect to a student's total school work-load. Once classes are scheduled in the Spring of each school year, it is difficult to make schedule changes and due to this, rarely done!

Steps for Dual Enrollment
Step 1: Talk with your school counselor
Step 2: Select and Complete KCC "High School Dual Enrolled" application as the Student
Step 3: Complete Accuplacer or submit PSAT/SAT scores
Step 4: Register and complete KCCS-C100 Online Learner Orientation (first-time on-line classes)
Step 5: Register and attend KCCS-C150 New Student Orientation (first-time DE students only)
Step 6: Select courses (Add courses to "Plan" in Bruin Account)
Step 7: Complete DE registration form (see below)
Step 8: School counselor submits payment authorization to KCC on your behalf
Step 9: Provide proof of residency (first-time DE students only)
Step 10: Register for courses (Select "register" in Bruin Account)
Step 11: Notify Mrs. Kamm via email at akamm@battle-creek.k12.mi.us regarding books needed
