1. Brief description and aims of module:   

This module is intended to provide you with a polished and professional looking animation showreel that you can show to potential employers before you complete your degree. You will concentrate on technical competencies by showing your control and skills at animation principles, in according with industry needs.

This will involve creating a showreel of animation skills that you will have developed from your previous learning. You will focus it towards your developing specialism, whether that be rendered animations or interactive artworks.  It will require a considerable amount of independent skills learning and you will select a number of appropriate animation methods and ideas, to demonstrate within the showreel. It is the chance to hone particular skills and develop ideas in advance of the Major Project module.
