1.Brief description and aims of module

This research explores the current recording techniques associated with a specific sonic palette. It aims to:

• Provide an insight into current recording techniques
• Forster a deeper understanding of your chosen sonic palette

2.Outline syllabus

You choose an area of current music production in your chosen field. You then explore, research and annotate all the current recording techniques being used to create that specific sonic palette. You receive input from industry professionals. This is a research based module where you then demonstrate the techniques you have acquired in the studio to current practitioners.

3.Teaching and learning activities

Delivery is through a combination of studio seminars and research.
