1.Brief description and aims of module
Devised Project II supplies the time and creative freedom needed to deliver an example of digital creativity that meets professional standards of quality and originality. Your artefact may take a number of forms such as a creative computing tool, application, experience or installation, yet should be underpinned by your conceptual and technological interests while maintaining qualities of novelty and surprise.
You begin by reflecting on the outputs of Devised Project I to agree a final form for your artefact with your project supervisor. From here, you collect the required resources to realise your idea, and develop an initial proof of concept that is reviewed in terms of its potential commercial or sociocultural impact by industry representatives. Following this engagement, you continue to iterate and refine your artefact individually while meeting regularly with your project supervisor in part to review progress, and in part to discuss routes to employment following successful completion of MSc Creative Computing.

3.Teaching and learning activities
Class Hours:
You are allocated 6 hours of individual mentorship with an appropriate member of the Creative Computing academic team. These meetings help to monitor individual progress and provide support in shaping artefact development within the confines of your agreed conceptual framework. Monthly seminar sessions offer opportunity for project troubleshooting and peer review.
Independent Learning:
Progress across Devised Project II is managed independently. You hold responsibility for pursuing the creative and technical aspects of your work, seeking specialist advice when required, and maintaining a feasible development schedule.
