1.Brief description and aims of module
Devised Project I concerns the scoping and generation of preproduction materials for an original creative computing tool, application, experience or installation.
You begin by establishing a selection of potential creative trajectories before negotiating the support of a project supervisor. This planning component concludes with the writing of a contextual statement that reveals the rationale and conceptual anchor for your devised project. Attention then turns to the generation of preproduction materials. Here you produce design sketches, indicative assets and technical experiments that test the viability and calibre of your chosen idea, as well as assist transition (where applicable) towards full project development within Devised Project II.
