1.Brief description and aims of module
Understanding the international business environment is a key aspect of organisational decision making and is critical to business success. This module is an advanced learning of international business environment in the context of the dynamic, comprehensive and complex nature of this topic.
The module aims to build the student’s specialist knowledge of international political, legal, economic, and financial systems and frameworks that businesses entail; to gain a critical understanding of the complexities of operating in a multi-cultural environment; and to gain a critical awareness of the role of ethics and social responsibility play in business decision making in the global context.
