The eligibility center is an NCAA department that checks to see if college bound athletes, for Division 1 and 2 athletics, have met certain academic requirements.

My Time at Liberty:
I was a 3 year starter on the Football team (Offensive Line) and I was also a member of the Basketball team.
I was a captain of the football team for two years.

My tips for college searching athletes is: Do not be afraid to advocate for yourself! Recruiting is all about presenting yourself to others. Be honest about your achievements, and do not be afraid to reach out to a coach. Also do not be afraid to tell a coach you are not interested, its better to be honest than to waste your time and a coach's time.

Recruitment Advice:
Athletes, don't put too much pressure on yourself! Your sport is supposed
to be fun. Never forget the reason why you started playing in the first place.
College coaches know you make mistakes, they are looking for how you
respond to the adversity of a bad game or play. Remember to always play your
hardest and have the next play mentality! Also, stay dedicated to
your sport if it's something you love to do. With hard work and determination,
it can take you places you never would've imagined.

I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Loyola University of Maryland. I am majoring in Biochemistry while also playing basketball at the Division one level, competing in the Patriot League. After my four years at Loyola, I am planning to apply and attend Medical School.

Recruitment Advice:
My advice for college searching athletes is to not give up if you don’t get the responses you want from colleges right away. You have to dedicate yourself to finding the right college for yourself and put the work in to get the response you aspire to get. But most of all, don’t lose yourself in the process, remember that you are blessed to be in this process and believe in yourself as a person and an athlete throughout it.

My advice for college searching athletes is that it is never too late to find the perfect school. Sometimes the right fit shows up later than you expect, but that does not mean you have failed. Stay open minded, keep reaching out to schools and coaches, and to make sure you keep your future plans and athletic ability in mind. Do what is right for you, as everybody's journey is different.

Don’t be afraid to reach out to coaches. Make sure you go to sporting camps to try and get your name out on the map. Please don’t put so much pressure on yourself. Life at Liberty:
Amanda helped lead the Hurricanes to a 41-4 record her Junior and Senior Year. She finished with over 1,000 points in her career. She was the team MVP 3 times, two time All State selection, and was a Gatorade Player of the Year Candidate.
College and Beyond
Amanda studied Graphic Design and Advertising with a minor in Web Design. Amanda then went on to receive a Masters degree in informational technology. She is now the Head Coach of Drew University Women's Volleyball.
Life at Liberty:
Grace was a great leader for the LHS Track & Field. While at LIberty, she was qualified for the PIAA State Championships in '16 and '17 for Long Jump and Triple Jump.
College and Beyond
Grace studied business analytics. As a Spider, she ran in the 200m, Long Jump, and Javelin. She is now the business owner of Absurd Snacks. Click on the link below to learn more about Absurd Snacks.

Matthew studied Political Science. Matt had a long career in the MLB with Colorado Rockies, Cleveland Guardians, Oakland Athletics, and the Philadelphia Phillies. He now works as a financial planner.

Colin was a four year varsity member for the boys soccer team. He was an All State Player and a Captain for the Hurricanes.

Colin studied business managment. Colin played professionally for Flower City Union. He is now a soccer coach for HEX FC and East Stroudburg University Mens Soccer.

Olivia was a crucial part of the LHS team's success in 2018. Single season goal scorer with 67 goals.

Olivia studied Political Science and Psychology at her time at Duke. After graduating from Duke University, she has become a financial planner.

Sander was a top kicking prospect in the Nation. Sander spent his time kciking for the LHS Football team and played for the soccer team as well.
College and Beyond
Sander studied Telecommunications while at Penn State. He will graduate in May of this year. Sander plans to work in the real estate investment business.
Darian Street - University of Pitt/Towson

Life at Liberty:
Darian was a Top 12 prospect in the state of PA his senior year of high school. As a Senior, he was averaged 17.8 yards a catch and had 9 career touchdowns.
College and Beyond
Darian studied sociology and communications. Upon receiving his degree, he is working for a medical device sales business in NJ and NY. He sells hospital beds to wheelchairs.

During his time as a Hurricane, Trevor was a 5 sport varsity winning athlete. Trevor played Soccer, Football, Basketball, Cross Country, and Track & Field

Trevor went on to attend Princeton University were he graduated with a Sociology degree. Trevor then went on to the University of Texas at Austin to pursue a Masters degree in Social Studies Education. Trevor was a Cross Country and Track & Field athlete at both Universities.

Cailey spent her four years as a Hurricane playing soccer for the girls soccer team and being a majorette in the Grenadier Band.
College and Beyond
Cailey played for Ursinus college Womens soccer team while being a biology major. She was passionate about working in the health field. After graduating from Ursinus, she has began working as an ER Nurse. She now works in hematology/onclology nursing.
Dallas Holmes - Lafayette College

Life at Liberty:
During his time as Hurricane, Dallas was a two sport athlete. Dallas was a Forward for the Basektball team and a QB for the Football team. Dallas lead the team in blocks and field goal percentage for basketball. Dallas was the QB for the Hurricanes, leading them on the field.
College and Beyond
Dallas went to play at Lafayette College and studied Mathematics & Economics. He was a two year starter at TE. He was an All Patriot League Selection at TE. Dallas is now going to attend University of South Dakota to play football and work on a Masters in Business Administration.
Rachel Byrne - Moravian University

Life at Liberty:
Rachel ran track and field at Liberty. She was a District X1 champion in the 4x800m relay and a four time PIAA championship qualifier.
College and Beyond
While at Moravian, Rachel studied both Psychology and Sociology. She holds four records for track and field at the University. Rachel is now pursuing a Masters degree in School Counseling from Kutztown University.
Martina Gale - King's College

Life at Liberty:
While at Liberty, Martina was a 4 year member of the Liberty girls team. Martina was also a member of the Grenadier Band as a majorette.
College and Beyond
During her time as a Monarch, Martina played for King's all four years. She enjoyed playing in college as it served as a way to make great friendships and to have a good outlet to the stressors that classes bring. Martina graduated with a Physical Assistant degree and now works in Robotic Surgery.

Lina Perugini - Coastal Carolina & Penn State

Life at Liberty:
While Lina was a Hurricane she played volleyball, as a defensive specialist. She accumulated over 1,000 digs, finishing with 1,407 digs in her career. She was named to the District All Star Team and the PIAA All Star Team.
College and Beyond
During her time at Coastal Carolina Lina studied Public Health. Over her 4 years of being a Chanticleer, 1,664 digs. She was named to the Sun Belt Conference All-Sun Second team in 2020. Lina then went on to play at Penn State University, while completing a certification in Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Lina now works in cancer research.
