The PSAT is an opportunity for 10th and 11th graders to take a practice version of the SAT. The PSAT will give them exposure to how the SAT is structured, given, and a small scale experience before taking the SAT.
The PSAT is now digital! The PSAT/NMSQT takes 2 hours and 14 minutes and consists of 2 sections: (1) the Reading and Writing Section, and (2) the Math Section. Most of the questions are multiple choice, though some math questions ask you to write in the answer rather than select it.
The PSAT is offered in October at Liberty every year.
Yes, you will get a score. This score is based out of a scale of 320 to 1520. Each section is 160 - 760 points. It will give you a score that can give you an idea how you will do on the SAT in the future.
